Whenever you are included in a Booking Request we will send you an email notification, so its really important that our emails from email@example.com don't go into your spam.
Firstly - it helps to ensure firstname.lastname@example.org is listed in your contacts as many email systems will look for this. You might want to create a new contact called Team Kowalah.
Below we've listed the main email platforms and some advice on how to make sure our emails go straight to your inbox!
Open up your Settings (look for the cog), then as in the screen below look for Email, Junk Mail and then click Add in Safe Senders.
Add in email@example.com and click Enter/Return
If you are using Outlook on your phone then you'll access the spam folder here
If one of our emails has been incorrectly tagged as spam then go to your spam folder (either on your phone or laptop), open the email and then click Not Spam
To add us to your contacts in Gmail you will need to open our email on your laptop, hover over the email address saying Team Kowalah, and then click the text saying Add to Contacts.
Click the Spam folder.
If you don't see the "Spam" folder, click More below the "Sent" folder.
Select the email.
Click Not Spam at the top of the page.
The email will return to your Inbox.
Apple Mail on your iPhone
It is always best to update your spam settings on your actual email provider (Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo for example) but if you are also using the Apple Mail app on your phone to read emails then you can mark a spam mail as Not Junk.
Open your Mail app, and open up the Junk folder (it isn't called spam here) and swipe left on the email from Team Kowalah, then click on the three dots, and then on Mark... in the menu that pops up.
And now Mark as Not Junk
You should then add Team Kowalah to your contacts by tapping on the email we sent you, tap on our email address and then Create New Contact.
